In the first quarter of 2026, 1 financial institution was admitted as CIPS Direct Participant. 27 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants, among which 1 is located in the Chinese Mainland and 26 are located overseas. 2 CIPS Indirect Participants withdrew. 1 financial institution obtained Direct Participant qualification.

As of March 2026, CIPS has 194 Direct Participants and 1597 Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1165 participants are from Asia (including 564 from Chinese Mainland), 266 from Europe, 73 from Africa, 35 from North America, 33 from South America, and 25 from Oceania. CIPS participants are located in 126 countries and regions around the world. Business covers more than 5100 banking institutions in 191 countries and regions around the world.
