In the second quarter of 2026, 17 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Direct Participants. 53 overseas financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants. 15 CIPS Indirect Participants withdrew. 10 financial institutions obtained Direct Participant qualification.

As of June 2026, CIPS has 210 Direct Participants and 1619 Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1157 participants are from Asia (including 542 from Chinese Mainland), 267 from Europe, 103 from Africa, 34 from North America, 33 from South America, and 25 from Oceania. CIPS participants are located in 130 countries and regions around the world. Business covers more than 5200 banking institutions in 191 countries and regions around the world.
