On 13 August 2026, Wang Hongbo, Chairman of CIPS, met with a delegation led by Mory Kaba, Director General of the Finance and Informatics Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea.

The two sides had in-depth discussions on facilitating the local use of RMB and promoting bilateral economic and trade development.
