In the third quarter of 2026, 4 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Direct Participants. 53 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants, among which 2 are located in the Chinese Mainland and 51 are located overseas. 17 CIPS Indirect Participants withdrew. 14 financial institutions obtained Direct Participant qualification.

As of September 2026, CIPS has 214 Direct Participants and 1651 Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1176 participants are from Asia (including 528 from Chinese Mainland), 271 from Europe, 112 from Africa, 35 from North America, 32 from South America, and 25 from Oceania. CIPS participants are located in 133 countries and regions around the world. Business covers more than 5300 banking institutions in 192 countries and regions around the world.
