CIPS Co., Ltd. Convenes Work Conference for Second Half of 2026

On the morning of August 4, 2026, CIPS Co., Ltd. (Cross-Border Interbank Payment System Co., Ltd.) convened its work conference for the second half of 2026. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the meeting thoroughly reviewed and implemented the directives from the People’s Bank of China’s (PBOC) mid-year work conference, summarized operational progress achieved since the beginning of 2026, and outlined strategic plans for the next stage in alignment with evolving financial dynamics and institutional requirements.
Wang Hongbo, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of CIPS Co., Ltd., delivered key operational deployments for the upcoming phase. Mao Guangyu, Member of the CPC Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, conveyed the policy directives from the PBOC’s mid-year meeting. Executive leadership members Zhang Xin, Wan Tailei, and Zhang Mingshen also attended the conference.
The conference highlighted that under the strong leadership of the PBOC Party Committee, CIPS Co., Ltd. has achieved solid progress in system operational development and enterprise growth throughout 2026, continuously solidifying CIPS's role as the "primary channel" for cross-border Renminbi (RMB) payment and clearing.
Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, CIPS Co., Ltd. will continue to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and resolutely execute the strategic decisions of the PBOC Party Committee.
