How to join CIPS as a direct participant

  Pursuant to the Article 6 and 7 of the Interim Measures for Administration of CIPS Participants, applicants for direct participation should submit an application form to the Company. Upon receipt of complete application materials, the Company will carry out an assessment following the principle of facilitating healthy development of the RMB cross-border payment business.

  How to add or cancel business permissions

  Pursuant to the Article 23 of the Interim Measures for Administration of CIPS Participants, direct participants may apply to the Company to add or cancel business permissions according to business needs. Participants applying for new business permissions should have business qualification and risk management capability appropriate to such permissions.

  How to change basic information

  Pursuant to the Article 24 of the Interim Measures for Administration of CIPS Participants, direct participants intending to change information may update the information through e-mail, etc. Indirect participants intending to change information should entrust their designated direct participants to submit updated information to the Company via e-mail, etc.

  How to change the business relationship between a direct participant and an indirect participant

  Pursuant to the Article 21 of the Interim Measures for Administration of CIPS Participants, participants may apply for change of the business relationship between direct participants and indirect participants, including revocation of business relationship and addition of new business relationship.

  Where a participant intends to revoke a business relationship, the direct participant shall, after consensus, submit to the Company an application for revocation of the direct and indirect participant business relationship. Where a participant intends to add a new business relationship, the process is the same as that for an indirect participant to join.
