Acceptance Process

The access and acceptance process for participants is as follows:

1.1Submitting an acceptance application

Participants shall independently develop application software in accordance with applicable specifications and conduct internal testing. Upon completing system integration testing and satisfying all acceptance prerequisites, participants shall fill out the Acceptance Application for Direct Participants of the Cross-border Interbank Payment System online via the CIPS Global Service Platform (https://service.cips.com.cn) and submit the acceptance application to CIPS.

1.2Grant access to the acceptance environment

The Operator shall accept and review the acceptance application submitted by the participant, and arrange access to the acceptance environment accordingly.

1.3Conduct Acceptance Activities

The Operator arranges personnel to carry out on-site and remote acceptance activities, and the participants should cooperate with such personnel properly.

1.4Issuing acceptance report

The Operator prepares and sends the acceptance report to the participants. If the acceptance fails, the participants should make corrections according to the acceptance opinions and resubmit an acceptance application.

Acceptance Items and Criteria

The overall acceptance shall be conducted either on-site or remotely, and consists of two major modules: technical acceptance and business acceptance.

2.1Technical Acceptance

2.1.1Acceptance of Access Environment

If necessary, this acceptance shall be performed on site. Specifically, inspectors of the Oeprator will conduct inspection at the participant’s premises, which mainly overs the venue, data center, equipment, personnel and related management rules for the operation of participant's system.

2.1.2Acceptance of access entry information system

This acceptance is to be performed on site. Specifically, the inspectors of the operator will enter the participant's site for inspection, which mainly overs the network system environment and computer system environment of PMTS-CAE deployment.

2.1.3Acceptance Document Message Validation

This acceptance is to be performed remotely. The participants should complete appropriate service message scenarios according to the cases.

2.2Business acceptance

The business acceptance may be performed on site or remotely, which mainly covers the entry, processing and accounting linkage of participants' payment messages, as well as the inspection of participants' business execution by the inspectors of the This acceptance is to be performed on site. Specifically, the inspectors of the Oeprator will enter the participant's site for inspection. Business acceptance shall be conducted concurrently with access-side software testing (Acceptance Document Message Validation).
