During September 2023, 4 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Direct Participants. 12 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants, among which 1 is located in the Chinese Mainland and 11 are located overseas. 1 CIPS Indirect Participant withdrew.

As of September 2023, CIPS has 1478 participants with 101 as Direct Participants and 1377 as Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1018 participants are from Asia (including 564 from Chinese Mainland), 240 from Europe, 50 from Africa, 30 from North America, 22 from Oceania, and 17 from South America, located in 111 countries and regions around the world. The actual business covers more than 4,300 banking institutions in 182 countries and regions around the world.
