From March 24th to April 7th, 2017, CIPS run at the backup center for 9 working days over 2 weeks, during which the system run smoothly and all types of business were processed correctly. Transactions processed through CIPS reached the peak on April 6th, 2017.
CIPS’s backup center went into operation in June 2016 and all the 28 direct participants accessed the backup center before the end of November 2016. CIPS operator, coordinating with direct participants, finished three drills of site switch between the primary and the backup center, by doing which switch process was optimized, technical solutions were improved, switch time was shortened, and the sensation of participants during the switch was minimized so that business continuity of the system was maintained and service levels of CIPS were improved.
